WrestleMania is a professional wrestling pay-per-view event that’s produced every year in late March or early April by World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE. It is thought to be WWE’s flagship pay-per-view event; it’s the most successful, longest-running pro wrestling event in the world and is nicknamed “The granddaddy of them all.” It was first shown in 1985 and since then, there have been 24 editions and WrestleMania XXV will be held in 2009. Participating in a WrestleMania match, especially the main event, is thought to be one of the utmost successes of professional accomplishment by fans and wrestlers alike. The WWE’s superstars of RAW brought in huge crowds of eager fans and press on the Mexican WrestleMania Revenge live tour from May 21 to 24, 2008. The tour started with a sold out show on May 21 in Monterrey; more than 12,000 fans braved the 100 degree heat to root for WWE Superstars like Triple H, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy and Mexican Super Crazy. More than 10,000 fans attended the event the next day at the Plaza de Toros Santa Maria in Queretaro. The tour ended with an astounding Mexico City reception with 2 back-to-back shows on May 23 and 24; the shows at the Palacio de los Deportes had over 15,000 fans each night.
