Periodically Yavapai College Performance Hall will have well-known bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers despite the fact that it is a small club. Bands from around the area play at the place primarily, most weekends. Originally known as The Cafeteria, the bar changed its name to Yavapai College Performance Hall when Nigel Prather took over ownership in 1983. The owner used his favorite bar while he was in his 20s and dwelld in Detroit as the inspiration for the layout of the club he runs now. Yavapai College Performance Hall has grown into the most respected bar around the metropolitan area to listen to shows and purchase a drink.
