The World Arena is a multi-purpose arena and entertainment venue in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was inaugurated in the year 1988 and is home to the Colorado College Tigers ice hockey team of the WCHA, the Broadmoor Skating Club and the Broadmoor Speed skating Club. It was also home to the US National Short Track Speed skating Team.

The World Arena has an attached Ice Hall and also manages the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts that are located in downtown Colorado Springs. Besides the sporting events, the arena also serves as a venue for world-class concerts, family shows, trade shows, religious rallies and other events.
The World Arena is a great entertainment and sporting venue in Colorado. The seating capacity at the venue is around 7,750 people for hockey, 8,099 people for basketball and about 9,000 people for concerts. In the year 2008, the venue will host a number of events and performances that includes the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions, Carrie Underwood, WWE Smackdown and ECW, Volunteer Jam Tour, Barnum & Bailey Circus, Los Lobos & Los Lonely Boys, Bill Gaither, besides games between the CC Tigers Hockey and other teams such as the Minnesota State Mankato and the University of Denver.
