The Verizon Wireless Arena is a popular indoor arena located in Manchester, New Hampshire. Initially, the facility was known simply as the Civic Arena, however with the naming rights being purchased by Verizon Wireless the name changed to Verizon Wireless Arena. With a seating capacity of over 10,000 seats for hockey and over 11,000 seats for basketball, the ground of Verizon Wireless Arena is even used for hosting a wide variety of live concerts. The Verizon Wireless Arena has 34 suites, 5 party suites along with 542 club seats.

About Verizon Wireless Arena - NH
Home to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League and the Manchester Wolves of af2,, the Verizon Wireless Arena is also used by the University of New Hampshire and Dartmouth College men's hockey teams. Even the Boston Celtics of the NBA and the Boston Bruins of the NHL regularly play the pre-season games at the Verizon Wireless Arena NH.
After almost one and a half years of construction work, the doors of the facility center of Verizon Wireless Arena were opened on November 15, 2001. The first home game of the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League was played here on November 16, followed by a hit performance by Aerosmith the following night. Amongst all the popular events, the Verizon Wireless Arena has hosted shows that include the 2005 AHL All-Star Game, WWE Backlash 2005 and the 2006 NCAA Frozen Four Regional tournament.
