The Van Andel Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The arena is home to the Grand Rapids Griffins ice hockey team and the Grand Rapids Rampage Arena football team. The Van Andel Arena also used to be the home court of the now defunct Grand Rapids Hoops basketball team.

As a concert venue Van Andel Arena can seat 12,858. The arena features 9,886 permanent seats and 44 luxury suites. There are also 1,298 retractable seats at the Van Andel Arena. Sunset Strip rockers Mötley Crüe recorded their April 27, 2005, concert at Van Andel Arena and later released the show on the Carnival of Sins Live DVD.
From the time it was opened in 1996, the Van Andel Arena has hosted numerous concerts from big-name celebrities, such as Hannah Montana, Faith Hill, NSYNC, Tim McGraw, Aerosmith, Green Day, Kiss, John Mayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elton John, Page and Plant, Styx, Def Leppard with Reo Speedwagon and Styx, Van Halen, and several World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) appearances.
