US Airways Center was formerly known as the America West Arena. It is a sports and entertainment facility located in Phoenix, Arizona. US Airways Center is home to the Phoenix Suns of the NBA, the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA, Arizona Rattlers of the AFL and the Phoenix Roadrunners of the ECHL.

The arena was named the US Airways Center on November 14, 2005 under a naming rights arrangement with US Airways. The US Airways Center is also locally called “The Purple Palace” but during the Rattlers' season it is also known as "the Snake Pit." In addition to sports events, many famous singers and musical acts, such as Beyoncé Knowles, Destiny's Child, Chris Brown, Puff Daddy, Janet Jackson, dc Talk, Shakira, Metallica, Barbra Streisand, The Spice Girls, Britney Spears, REO Speedwagon, NSYNC, The Backstreet Boys, Green Day, Blink 182, Gwen Stefani, Vicente Fernandez, Maná and others have all performed at US Airways Center.
