The Toyota Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Houston, Texas. It is named after the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota. The Toyota Center is home to the Houston Rockets of the NBA and The Houston Aeros of the AHL.

The Toyota Center was opened on October 6, 2003 with an opening performance by the rock band Fleetwood Mac. It has a seating capacity of 18,300 for basketball, 17,800 for hockey and up to 19,000 for concerts. The Toyota Center also has 2,900 club seats and 103 luxury suites. Besides, the Toyota Center even has over 10,000 parking spaces, including the 2,500-space Toyota Tundra garage.
In 2003, Central Houston awarded the Allen Award for Civic Enhancement the Toyota Center, while in 2004 it won the "Rookie of the Year" award by the Harlem Globetrotters. Metallica, Elton John, U2, Damien Marley, Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Coldplay, Shakira, The Who, Eric Clapton and such leading artists have all performed at the Toyota Center.
