About The O'Shaughnessy
Occasionally The O'Shaughnessy will have big-name groups like Nickelback despite the fact that it has more of a basement bar feel to it. The O'Shaughnessy was originally known as The Eyewitness, but Jack Geanopulos purchased the bar from Seth Pillar in 1982 and changed the name. The owner had always wished to own a bar similar to the bar he hung out the most at while he was going for his undergraduate degree at at the University of Louisville. The O'Shaughnessy has since become the most respected club around town for concerts.
