Since its grand opening in 1995, the TD Banknorth Garden is proud to be the official home to the NHL's Boston Bruins and NBA's Boston Celtics. This sports arena is located in the West End neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The sports arena is actually named after its sponsor, TD Banknorth and at times it is also referred to as simply The Garden or the traditional Boston Garden. Earlier, the arena was known as the FleetCenter and the Shawmut Center. This is the ground where the annual Beanpot and the annual Hockey East Championships is held.
