Sommet Center, also formerly known as Nashville Arena and then Gaylord Entertainment Center, is a multipurpose venue in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. It was the home of the Nashville Kats franchise of the Arena Football League from 1997 until 2001. The Nashville Kats folded in 2007.

The Sports Authority of Nashville and Davidson County own the Sommet Center. The venue has also hosted numerous concerts and religious gatherings. Some of the major basketball events, including both men's and women's tournaments of the Southeastern Conference and the Ohio Valley Conference were hosted in the Sommet Center
In 1997, the Sommet Center hosted the United States Figure Skating Association national championships, while the U.S. Gymnastics championships were hosted at Sommet Center in 2004. The Sommet Center can seat 17,113 for ice hockey; 20,000 for both basketball and center-stage concerts. It also host’s professional wrestling events.
The Sommet Center was nominated for the 2007 Pollstar Concert Industry Venue of the Year Award along with Madison Square Garden, New York City and other renowned facilities. Some big names that have performed at the Sommet Center include Hannah Montana, Keith Urban, Stevie Wonder, the Blue Man Group and many others.
