Ovens Auditorium is a popular auditorium located just adjacent to Cricket Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. Opened in 1955, Ovens Auditorium has a comfortable seating arrangement for accommodating 2,460 spectators. As of November 2005, Ovens Auditorium has hosted more than 7,000 events. This beautiful auditorium is both owned and operated by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) of the City of Charlotte.

Since its grand opening ceremony that took place in the year 1955, the Ovens Auditorium still continues to host a wide array of concerts and events that provides full entertainment to the local residents living here. The venue is well equipped with 2 full-size dressing rooms, 5 performer dressing rooms and a large catering area. The auditorium also features a hospitality room for entertaining, as well as the Starlight Lounge.
Here, one can expect to see everything ranging from Broadway shows to Billy Graham Crusades. In its more than 50 year history, the historic Ovens Auditorium has been the perfect venue for hosting over 7,000 events and entertaining around 9.4 million people. Even today, Ovens Auditorium continues to host some of the country’s best shows.
