Chad Dickenson purchased the Nachtresidenz in 1966 and remodeled it after the previous owner sold it to him when it went bankrupt. The owner visited a place in England one summer and liked it so much he based his venue on it. Nachtresidenz has since become one of the preferred locales around the city to go to appreciate performers play live.
