The Mellon Arena was earlier known as the Pittsburgh Civic Arena. It is also locally called as "The Igloo." The Mellon arena is an indoor arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League and also was the former home of the Pittsburgh Hornets of the AHL.
