The Joe Louis Arena is home to the National Hockey League franchise, the Detroit Red Wings. Joe Louis Arena also hosts college hockey events, conventions and concerts. In November 27, 2005 the WWE Survivor Series was held at the Joe Louis Arena. The arena is accessible through its own station on the Detroit People Mover.
