Izod center, formerly known as Continental Airlines Arena is home to the NBA's New Jersey Nets and hundreds of different events. It is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey and was also the home of the New Jersey Devils NHL hockey team. Izod center has a seating capacity of 19,040 for hockey; 20,029 for college basketball; 20,049 for NBA games; and a maximum 20,000 for concerts. The arena attracts spectators and fans from New Jersey and the entire New York Metropolitan Area.

It was at Izod center that the Devils won three Stanley Cups and the Nets advanced to the NBA Finals. The Izod Center has also hosted the NBA All-Star Game in 1982, the NHL All-Star Game in 1984 and the NCAA Men's Final Four in 1996.
With its superior state-of-the-art acoustical structure, the Izod center provides the audiences with excellent sound and an optimum view. The Izod center was opened on July 1981 with six sold-out shows by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. With such a reigning list of top performances, the Izod center indeed is a one of the top concert venues in the country.
