The Heinz Field is a football stadium located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The City of Pittsburgh owns the venue that was inaugurated on August 24, 2001. It is home to the Pittsburgh Steelers NFL franchise and the University of Pittsburgh Panthers college football team. In the year 2008, the stadium will host a number of events that includes games between the Pittsburgh Steelers and other teams such as the Philadelphia Eagles, the Carolina Panthers, the Houston Texas, the Baltimore Ravens, the New York Giants and the Indianapolis Colts.
