Any time the seats are added to the stadium, an equal amount of seats are removed from either the pavilion or from the upper decks in order to stick to the permit. Dodger stadium will be marked as the third oldest ballpark in the United States after the decommissioning of the famous 'Yankee Stadium' after the 2008 season. It will also become the oldest ballpark on the Western Coast.

On September 16th,1987, Pope John Paul II conducted a famous mass at this venue. 2. 1n the year 1994, Dodger Stadium also had the privilege of being the venue for a concert by the three most renowned tenors Plácido Domingo, José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti. The concert was known as "Encore - the Three Tenors" and was conducted by the famed Zubin Mehta. 3. The opening of the 1991, U.S. Olympic Festival was also conducted at The Dodge Stadium, Los Angeles. 4.
