The inaugural game at the Comerica Park was held on April 11, 2000 between the Detroit Tigers and the Seattle Mariners. The venue has been host to some other sporting events such as the 76th MLB All-Star Game in 2005 and game 1 of the 2006 World Series on October 21, 2006. Besides these, the Comerica Park has been host to musical performances by the Dave Matthews Band, Eminem, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Bon Jovi and also the Warped Tour in 2007.
The Comerica Park hosts interesting events for the people of Detroit. It has a seating capacity of around 41,000 people. Some of the upcoming events at the venue include games between the Detroit Tigers and the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees, the Seattle Mariners, the Minnesota Twins, the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago White Sox.
