The Chase Field is a baseball stadium in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. The ballpark was inaugurated in 1998 and is home to the Arizona Diamondbacks of the National League. It was originally named as the Bank One Ballpark and is the first stadium to have a retractable roof and the playing surface is made of natural grass. The Maricopa County Stadium District owns the ballpark.

The Arizona Diamondbacks made their debut at the Chase Field on March 31, 1998. The ballpark has been host to some exciting games such as the 2001 World Series games between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the New York Yankees, three first-round games of the World Baseball Classic in March 2006 and the Insight Bowl from 2001-05. It has also been a host to international soccer games, women's college basketball games, besides occasional concerts. The Monster Jam performs at the venue every year.
The Chase Field in Phoenix has a seating capacity of around 49,033 people. The year 2008 includes interesting games between the Arizona Diamondbacks and other teams such as the Atlanta Braves, the Chicago Cubs, the Cincinnati Reds, the Colorado Rockies, the Detroit Tigers and the Florida Marlins.
