The CenturyTel Center is a multi-purpose arena located in the beautiful Bossier City, Louisiana. The CenturyTel Center is the home ground to the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings arena2 football team and the famous Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs ice hockey team. Located on the banks of the Red River in Bossier City, the CenturyTel Center has been designed on a 270,000 square foot area. The arena has hosted the Southland Conference men's basketball tournament held in 2001 along with various other sporting events from time to time. On September 28th, 2002 the NHL came to the CenturyTel Center for hosting a pre-season game between the Nashville Predators and Atlanta Thrashers. On January 14th, 2007 the Central Hockey League All Star game was held at the CenturyTel Center for the first time ever, hosted by the Mudbugs.
Since opening the doors to the public in the late fall of 2000, the CenturyTel Center has become one of the top entertainment destinations in the world.
