The Augusta National Golf Club is located in Augusta, Georgia. Bobby Jones founded the golf course that was opened for play in January 1933. The club has been a host to the annual Masters Tournament since 1934. It is one of the four major championships tournaments in professional golf.

The 18-hole "Augusta National" course is an important part of the Augusta National Golf Club and features 7,270 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. It is one of the most famous and revered golf courses on the PGA Tour. Horton Smith won the first Masters Tournament at the club. Some other famous players who have won the Tournament include Gene Sarazen, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan, Arnold Parmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Tiger Woods. The Augusta National Golf Club consists of 300 members. Some of the notable members of the club include Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Jack Welch, Carl Sanders and Sam Nunn.
