The multi-purpose arena Air Canada Centre is located on Bay Street in downtown Toronto, Ontario and is the home of the Toronto Raptors of the NBA, the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL and the Toronto Rock of the NLL. It is owned by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd., it’s 665,000 square feet in size, and is known as "the ACC" or "the Hangar" . The Air Canada Centre is opened on February 19, 1999and is the only arena in North America to house three of its own exclusive restaurants, Hot Stove Club, The Platinum Club and Air Canada Club. MLSE provided the Maple Leafs the venue to move out of the aging legendary Maple Leaf Gardens and in February, 1997 was performed the groundbreaking of the Air Canada Centre.

Their first home game was on February 20, 1999 against the Montreal Canadiens won by the Leafs with 3-2. The arena hosted the 2000 NHL All-Star Game and also the championship game of the 2004 World Cup of Hockey. In 2004 it hosted World Wrestling E Summerslam 2004, in 2006, WWE Unforgiven 2006 headlined and also it has hosted many WWE SmackDown!, WWE Raw and ECW tapings. The Air Canada Centre has held a lot of concerts to prominent stars and Bon Jovi hold the record for having played the most shows in the Air Canada Centre during one tour. During the 2008 off-season Maple Leaf will renovate the western side of the Air Canada Centre to connect it with the future Maple Leaf Square and installed a new high definition video scoreboard.
