Yankee Stadium is one of the oldest and most revered ball parks in the country. It has been the home of the Yankees since 1923 and is due to be demolished after the completion of a new stadium after 2009.

Commonly referred to as "The House That Ruth Built" Yankee Stadium has been home to some of the greatest baseball players in the history of the game. Players like Babe Ruth, Micky Mantle, and Reggie Jackson just to name a few all spent the majority of their careers here.
In it's long history Yankee Stadium has hosted over 25 World Series, 40 post season series, and a number of All Star Games. It's also been the location for college and profesional football, concerts, and even boxing matches.
The stadium is located in the heart of the Bronx and is a must see for any baseball fan. With a new stadium on the way 2008 will be the last chance to see a game at this historic ball park.
