The Colosseum at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is an amphitheater that opened in March 2003. It is a state-of-the-art entertainment venue. It was built by Caesars Entertainment and cost around $95 million.

The Colosseum at the Caesars Palace has been a host to many memorable performances. Some of the world-renowned artists who have performed at the amphitheater include Celine Dion, Elton John, Cher, Bette Midler, Jerry Seinfeld, Gloria Estefan, Luciano Pavarotti, Mariah Carey and Tim McGraw. In fact, the Colosseum made its grand opening with Celine Dion's mega hit “A New Day”. Elton John has also been performing at the venue with his “The Red Piano” shows. The rock legend, Stevie Nicks also performed at the Colosseum in a concert called the “Dreams”.
With a seating capacity of around 4,100, the Colosseum at the Caesars Palace hosts a wide variety of entertainment events. It is a striking landmark in Las Vegas and is designed to accommodate stage shows of all kinds. The year 2008 will witness some famous artists perform at the venue that include Elton John, Cher, Dane Cook, Bette Midler and Jerry Sienfeld.
