This tremendous show "Shrine Circus" was born at the famous Light Guard Armory in Detroit, Michigan. It was originated for the Moslem Shrine Center. This incredible Armory was roughly demolished several years ago, but the well known State historical marker at the famous former site proudly proclaims its thorough contribution to circus history. Earlier, when things really started out, this superb circus had only one-ring. Now, the scene has incredibly changed and there and by the end of 1925, it had already grown to three rings.  In the same year it was superbly transferred to a quite big building at the famous State Fair Grounds. From here this tremendous joyride continued to grow fast and prosper. In 1996, the show amazingly ran for 17 days with 40 breath taking performances, making it not only the hugely famous and oldest Shrine Circus, but also the tremendously largest. By the end of 1920s Shrine Circuses were thoroughly being held throughout the whole country, and with the passing of every year additional Shrine Centers articulated introduced to their communities. The first and small Shrine Circus is very well performed usually in Flint, Michigan.
