All set to make new year debut this year in New York at the Julia Miles Theater (424 West 55 Street) is "Shout! The Mod Musical . The previews are going to begin from July 11 and opening night, July 27. For a press review for the show, the cast and creators participated in it. Through the years Shout! flips like a musical magazine which tracks five young women who do come of age in the liberating days of the 1960s that made England swing. It is comprised of a non-stop journey through an infectious and soulful pop anthems and ballads. It made household names of stars like Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield and Lulu.

Shout! The Mod Musical is comprised of letters to an advice columnist, true confessions, quizzes and advertisements inorder to frame hits like "To Sir with Love," "Downtown," "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me," Son of A Preacher Man," and "Goldfinger." Children below 4 are not permitted in the theater. The cast comprising of young women are identified by the color of their costumes which is reflective of a composite personality: Marie-France Arcilla (Blue), Erin Crosby (Yellow), Julie Dingman-Evans (Orange) Erica Schroeder (Green), and Denise Summerford (Red). Co-created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein shout! is choreographed by the latter whereas George directed, with additional material by Peter Charles Morris and Phillip George.
Before coming to New York, the show is all set to play Florida’s Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach June 9 – July 2. From 1960 to 1970 Shout! Travels in time from cover-to-cover chronicling the dawning liberation of women. Petula Clark as Dusty Springfield,, Cicilia Black, and Lulu were independent women pursuing major careers. English and American women all set to redefine themselves in the changing scenario of attitudes about gender. Shout! reflects change through the unforgettable music of the time. New arrangements of classic tunes as "To Sir With Love", "Downtown", "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me". "Son of a Preacher Man" and "Goldfinger" are featured.
The delightful music comprising of an amalgamation of irresistible blend of foot-stomping songs, eye-popping fashions and psychedelic dances makes one throw their heads back and Shout! Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Cilla Black are SHOUT. Brought back ae the beautiful birds and newly arranged smashing hit songs that made England swing in the '60s, including To Sir With Love, Downtown, Son Of A Preacher Man and Shirley Bassey's Goldfinger . Heard at top of their game are Burt Bacharach, Tony Hatch and Carole King. An amalgamation of irresistible blend is framed by hilarious banter.
