The result is a truly brilliant piece of theater that explores the depths and intricacies of the human relationship, illustrating the number of knots we tie in the past and how those come back to haunt us in the future.

The play revolves around the life of the Westons, a family that lives in the American Midwest. Things take a turn in their lives when the patriarch of the family disappears one day, leaving the family in a lurch of sorts. Heeding to the call of a family crisis, the entire Weston family head back to the homestead, a three-storey house tucked away in the farmlands of Kansas. There they must care for their sick mother and more importantly, try to find the answers to the numerous questions that they now face- where did the patriarch go and why? What will happen now? In the face of sudden change, the family find themselves trying to figure out how this new state of affairs will fit into their lives.

The play is replete with humor and poignant insights into family life and the state of the human heart. The play not only deals with the immediate problems the Westons face but also their own individual ghosts and skeletons which must be dealt with in the face of an uncertain future for them all. With its impeccable story-telling and flawless writing, the play has already won accolades from critics all around the country.
