It is said that football was first played in Turin, in the year 1909. The main person, who organized the event was Sir Thomas Lipton. The team of Auckland comprised of coal miners, but, it was West Auckland who won the Tournament. They however, won the game for the second time against Juventus by 6-1, in Italy, in the year of 1911.
The first FIFA World Cup was played in Uruguay and which was played from July 13- 30, 1930. Jules Rimet was the main person who organized the tournament. He was designed as the president of FIFA during that time. Out of thirteen nations that took part in the tournament, the host nation won the game. It was a memorable victory for the team, as they beat Argentina by 4-2.

Amongst the victorious teams like Argentina and Germany, Brazil lead the tournament with five victories in hand. The third victory being in the year of 1970, for them.
