About Chelsea FC
The club was bought by Russian oil magnate Roman Abramovich in 2003, and their menager is Avram Grant. The team is also known as The Blues or previously The Pensioners. Their traditional colours are royal blue shirts and shorts with white socks, and the crest is a ceremonial blue lion holding a staff, a modified version of this was adopted in 2005. Becouse Ranieri was unable to deliver any trophies, in 2003 he was replaced by successful Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, who had just guided FC Porto to victory in the UEFA Champions League.
