The Frys.com Open is a PGA Tour Fall Series golf tournament, which was first staged in 2007 as the Fry's Electronics Open from October 18 to October 21 at Grayhawk Golf Club's Raptor Course in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 2007 Fry’s Electronics Open winner is Mike Weir. That was his first victory since the 2004 season, he fired a two-under-par 68 on Sunday to secure a one-shot victory over Mesa resident Mark Hensby.

Following the great success of the 2008 FBR Open, the PGA TOUR will return to Scottsdale this fall for the Frys.com Open, formerly the Fry’s Electronics Open, at Grayhawk Golf Club. The president of Fry’s Electronics, Randy Fry said that the 2007 Fry’s Electronics Open was a tremendous success and that he is excited to hold the event in Scottsdale at Grayhawk again this year. Part of the PGA TOUR’s Fall Series, the $5 million official money event will be played on Grayhawk’s Raptor Course, Oct. 22-26, with all four rounds being televised by The Golf Channel. The inaugural event was won by Canadian Mike Weir by one stroke over Mark Hensby.
