The Deutsche Bank Championship is a newer tournament on the PGA Tour that happens annually on Labor Day weekend. It was first played in 2003 and is held at the Tournament Players Club of Boston in Norton, Massachusetts. The main sponsor of the game is the Deutsche Bank; they are going to sponsor the event in Boston until 2010. The tournament is considered top-level because of the sponsor’s deep pockets and influence. This is the 2nd tournament in the FedEx Cup playoffs and is the only championship on the PGA Tour schedule that ends on a Monday.
