The Arizona Cardinals have a long history. The Cardinals were introduced as a team in 1898 in Chicago and are the longest playing team in football. Even with its long history, the team has only seen the playoffs, 7 times. They are 5 time Division champions, 1 time conference champions and 2 time league champions. The team has had no Super Bowl wins, leaving Arizona Cardinals ticket holding fans wanting something more.

The teams two championships were in 1925 and 1948, quite a long time before the Super Bowl was established. Then their last conference title was in 1975, over 30 years ago. Because of low Arizona Cardinals ticket sales, the team has changed location a number of times in hopes of riling fans and generating new interest and better, more dedicated players. While the Cardinals played in the shadows of the Chicago Bears limelight, they disappointed everyone enough that the team was moved to St. Louis.
After the move, the Cardinals couldn't convince St. Louis to build a new stadium for the team in 1988, mostly because of their record of playoff appearances, having just 3 in 28 years. This would cause the Cardinals to move again, finally becoming the Arizona Cardinals. Tickets were finally selling as Arizonians were happy to have a professional NFL team. The team may have made another move, but the county voted to build the team a new stadium in 2000.
The team would keep struggling through the years, leaving huge gaps between playoff appearances. The team managed to make it to the playoffs in 2008, a decade after their last appearance and only their second since moving to Arizona. They beat the Falcons 30-24. Hosting their first NFC championship in Arizona, the team went on to play against the Philadelphia Eagles. Arizona Cardinals tickets were a hot seller when the Cardinals beat the Eagles 32-25. The Cardinals finally made it to the Super Bowl. But the team would lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-23. A great showing for a team that had never made it to the big game previously.
After the Arizona Cardinals amazing run to the Super Bowl last year, the franchise will be looking for an equally amazing year this year. Quarterback Kurt Warner will once again be returning to the team and is looking to continue his success with the Arizona Cardinals. Ticket sales should be stellar this year due to Warner and the strong receiving core of Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston. These make up the core strength of the team and the Arizona Cardinals ticket holders have a good chance of the team once again making it to the Super Bowl and possibly winning it outright.
