Head Coach Dennis Felton was brought in to coach the Georgia Bulldogs in April 2003. Felton also introduced Ken McDonald whom he got appointed as Assistant Coach and Pete Herrmann as an Associate Head Coach for the Georgia Bulldogs. Under the leadership of the previous Georgian coach Jim Harrick, the Georgia Bulldogs had gone down to an all-time low. However, Dennis Felton took it upon himself to turn things around for the Bulldogs and in his first three seasons he took the team to NIT (National Invitation Tournament) and had created an impressive 58-63 record. In the 2007-2008 season, Felton's Bulldog's registered an awesome record of winning 4 games in 4 days that included 2 game victories in the same day. This unprecedented run by the Georgia Bulldogs led them to the Conference Tournament Trophy.
