The Fiesta Bowl is an American college football bowl game played annually at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The bowl game was inaugurated in the year 1971 and the inaugural game was played between the Arizona State and the Florida State. Initially the game was a part of the Western Athletic conference and later in the year 1998, it became a part of the Bowl Championship Series.

The Tostitos tortilla chips are the sponsors of the Fiesta Bowl game. Previously, Sunkist (1986-92) and IBM (1993-95) were the sponsors of the game. The game is currently aired on the Fox Network since the year 2007. ABC, CBS and NBC have also aired the game for several years. Apart from them, ESPN Radio is the home radio for the Fiesta Bowl game.
Previously, the Fiesta Bowl game was played at the Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. The University of Phoenix Stadium is the current home to the game. The stadium is located in Glendale, Arizona. The 63,400-seat stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium that is also the site for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. It was inaugurated on August 1, 2006. The contributors to the construction of the stadium included the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority, the Arizona Cardinals and the City of Glendale. It has also hosted the Super Bowl XLII on February 3, 2008.
