The Cincinnati Bearcats are the NCAA athletic teams who represent the University of Cincinnati. The university is located in Cincinnati, OH, and their athletics director is Mike Thomas. The school's athletic teams have been members of the Big East Conference since July 1, 2005, and they were previously members of Conference USA, a conference of which they were a founding member. The creation of Conference USA was the result of a merger in 1995 between the Great Midwest Conference of which Cincinnati was a member, and the Metro Conference whom Cincinnati had previously been a member. Their official uniform colors are red and black, Bearcats is their nickname, and the mascot is Bearcat.

About The Cincinnati Bearcats
The 2007 Cincinnati Bearcats football team represent the University of Cincinnati in the college football season of 2007, is coached by Brian Kelly and plays their homes game in Nippert Stadium. This is Kelly's first complete season with the Bearcats, having coached them to a 27–24 win against Western Michigan in the 2007 International Bowl. This is the first team since the 1954 Cincinnati Bearcats to be ranked in any fashion, and their highest rank of the 2007 campaign was 15th in the AP Top 25.
