The Boise State Broncos men's basketball team represents the Boise State University that is located in Boise, Idaho. The university was established in the year 1932 as the Boise Junior College. The university is a member of the Western Athletic Conference and its basketball team participates in the NCAA Tournaments.

The Broncos is the nickname given to the Boise State University's basketball team. The men's basketball team began their campaign in the NCAA Tournaments in the year 1974. Since then they have appeared four times in the tournament, that is in the years 1988, 1993 and 1994. Recently they made an appearance in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in the year 2008. The Broncos have not been able to win the tournament even once. Greg Graham is the head coach of the Broncos for the past seven years.
The Taco Bell Arena is home to the Boise State Broncos men's basketball team. It was inaugurated in the year 1982 and was formerly known as the Pavilion. With a seating capacity of around 12,820 people for basketball games, the arena has hosted the NCAA Men's Division I National Tournament on seven different occasions. It has also been a host to four Big Sky Conference men's basketball tournaments. The Taco Bell Arena is home to the Boise State Broncos wrestling and gymnastics teams, besides the basketball teams.
