The members of Bryant Bulldogs were friends in college. The group was influenced by Elvis. Bryant Bulldogs began playing at Anyplace, a college bar. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his aunt.

Bryant Bulldogs always wanted to hear themselves at the top of the charts and they got their wish with the release of their first single. Bryant Bulldogs met with a local DJ from Z97.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group.
Bryant Bulldogs accepted that they could really have a career in music in 1978, as soon as Kathleen Vanderhoff started the band’s first fan club. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Cynthia Ihnen created a website for the group and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.
The new release from Bryant Bulldogs is a refinement of their critically-acclaimed sound. The band is in the middle of the tour promoting for their latest record. Bryant Bulldogs see this tour as a chance to expose a new group of fans to their music.
Dallas has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the group schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring.
