The Circiut de Spa-Francorchamps was completed in the year 1921 to host motorcycle racing. Apart from the Formula One Belgian Grand Pix, the arena is home to the endurance race such as the Spa 24 Hours and the 25 Hours of Spa, which is run by the Uniroyal Fun Cup. The arena is considered to be one of the most challenging racetracks in the world. Jules de Their and Henri Langlois Van Ophem designed the arena. The triangular-shaped course originally featured a 15 kms (9.3-miles) track. In 1979, the course was shortened to 7 kms (4.35-miles). It features a total of 44 laps.
