Tony and Tina’ Wedding gives a unique twist to classic dinner theatre. Here you become an actual guest at this Italian/American wedding. You will actually drink champagne, eat pasta, dance and chat at your “friends wedding” The show is not for the shy and timid because you will have much more fun if you really get into your role as guest. You never know who may come up to you and start chatting or ask you to dance. Although there is a skeleton script that the actors follow the rest is improv and each show is new and different.

The concept came about through 2 students from Hofstra University in the drama department. Mark Nasser and Nancy Cassaro made up two characters, an Italian boyfriend and girlfriend from Queens. They would often play around and do improv with these characters in class and even after graduation. They then came up with the idea of an interactive wedding where the audience would be part of the show and become actual friends and family to the bride and groom. Well in no time this fun idea took off and the media got involved and the rest is history.
