You Am I was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day. The group's members all had odd jobs while they waited for their time to come. You Am I’s single climbed the charts quickly, giving them national exposure. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller bars in which they started.

You Am I's newest record is a refinement of their well-established sound. The group is in the first leg of the promotional tour for their most current album. You Am I are expecting to bring in a whole new group of fans with this tour and the new record.
