Wailin Jenny's accepted the fact that their dream of making a life as musicians had come true in 1976, after the band's first fan club was started by Michelle Kaplan. The club started out small, with just a handful of members around Jacksonville. After the band’s first national tour the club grew dramatically, reaching a membership in the thousands.
