The newest project from Vandaveer is the band's first album in nine years. The group is in the midst of the tour accompanying for their latest record. Vandaveer intends to take a break after the tour, to allow the band members to recharge after a long tour.
Vandaveer signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. got Q95.1 to start playing their single and had their friends call in to request the song. A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the band.
Vandaveer accepted they had finally made it after Virginia Dickenson started the first fan club for the group in 1995. The fan club quickly grew from a few dozen in Pittsburgh to a few thousand across the nation.
