The years of paying their dues paid off when Valentine's Dance Extravaganza signed a record deal. All the members quit their other jobs to focus on their record. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller venues which they began.
Valentine's Dance Extravaganza realized that their dream of making an actual life for themselves as musicians had come true after Kim O'Malley started the first fan club for the band in 1992. The fan club started out small with just a handful of members, generally localized to the area around Phoenix, but the creation the group’s website by Laura DeCambra, along with the first real national marketing campaign, saw the membership to grow into the thousands.
