Uncle John Sawbriar's newest record is the group's sixth release. The group recently finished their latest project, and they are planning the next release already. Uncle John Sawbriar intends to spend some time apart after the tour, to allow the group members to rest after a long year.
Uncle John Sawbriar was discovered while playing at at Socialite, a local dive bar. Uncle John Sawbriar’s first release rose quickly in the charts, giving them the national recognition they always wanted.
Uncle John Sawbriar knew that they were real working musicians as soon as the group’s first fan club was started in 1977 by Karen Smith. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Pittsburgh, the fan club quickly grew with band’s national tour and the launching of the band’s website by Carol Wilmouth.
