T.S.O.L’s members met in high school. The band used to sell their records out of their truck on the street. T.S.O.L started singing at the college club City. The drummer use to listen to music constantly as a teenager.

T.S.O.L’s first album did not sell well, but received critical acclaim. The second album was a hit and the band was saved from being released by the record company. T.S.O.L talked to a music director from Q90.5 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after T.S.O.L was signed.
T.S.O.L knew they had finally made it when the band’s first fan club was started in 1976 by Angela Parquette. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Kim Francoeur created a website for the band and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.
T.S.O.L's latest record has been heavily influenced by bands of the 1960s. The group may have recently completed their latest album, but they are plotting their next move already. After this past busy year the members of T.S.O.L will take some time off to recharge after a long tour.
