About Tom Petty
This string concert is the group’s first tour since 2010. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tour every two years, so it is no surprise they are touring this year. The band works for three months every two years, so there are going to be more concert dates. The remainder of the tour schedule will take Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to Europe and possibly Australia.

Damn the Torpedoes introduced them as rock stars in 1979 and Into the Great Wide Open reminded the world that Tom Petty and company were able to keep rocking in 1991.
