Tim Fischer’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going platinum. The band really enjoys performing and is playing almost nightly before fans. Tim Fischer was discovered after their single was heard on a local music hour on X100.1. The band's members had horrible jobs when they started playing, just biding time until they would hit the big time.
Tim Fischer knew that they were real working musicians after the group’s first fan club was started by Jen Quinn in 1982. Starting out in Shelbyville with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand all across the country in under a year.
