"Tiger Army" the group is better known as southern Cal punsters who have been honing their superb psychobilly twists since 1995. They have been playing gigs around the Bay Area, where some popular bands like: Green Day, Operation Ivy and Rancid made name for themselves. By 1997, the band had dealt with departing band mates as well as earning huge recognition from Rancid'sTim Armstrong.

The band released its self-titled debut album in December 1999. By the end of the year, talented Geoff Kresge was permanently added in the fine line up of the band to play stand-up bass. Finally, in 2001, Tiger Army became a complete band and released Tiger Army II: Power of Moonlite. Later in the same year, SoCal local Fred Hell heartily joined on drums and then the band hit the road to endorse sophomore effort as an official rock group. During this support tour, the band shared dates with the likes of Reverend Horton Heat, Dropkick Murphys and The Damned.
They also shared a stint of Hellcat's first Punk vs. Pshychos tour followed by another mind-blowing performance on the Warped tour in 2002. In the spring of 2003, the band members prepared for the recording of their third album. Though Hell on of the band members was shot four times but miraculously he survived. To fill up the place of Hell, drum tech Mike Fasano temporarily stepped in for a while and remained present during the studio sessions. Hell made a triumphant return as the band embarked on a tour in mid-2003. Their next psychobilly-powered release "Tiger Army III: Ghost Tigers Rise" followed in June 2004.
