The Schwag is the famous band that carries on the sizzling vibe and soothing music of the Grateful Dead. They perform a superb different show every night. Their shows are based on the good catalog of over 200 hit songs the Dead have performed. This band is the most spontaneous and improvisational of all Dead tribute bands. The band has already headlined more than 2000 successful concerts since 1992. The band delivers high-intensity jams with some high-quality sound that really sends music lovers into a thrilling dancing frenzy of breath taking eargasmic ecstasy. This band is a regional touring band and usually they perform over 160 shows in a year and in 18 states. This tremendous band has shared the electrifying stage with Leftover Salmon, Little Feat, Merl Saunders, String Cheese Incident, and the famous David Grisman Quintet. Their special musical guests have included Merl Saunders with two entire shows, Johnnie Johnson with three entire shows, Allaman Brothers Band with two entire shows and Michael and Liz from the Rusted Root. The famous Schwagstock festivals are superb concert/campout events and these events have taken place many times a year since 1997. Generally 3000 to 7000 people attend these tremendous events.
