After the single hit the airwaves and became incredibly popular, The Movement knew they’d made it big and were not willing to be just another one hit wonder. The band is enjoying its success, touring constantly. got X96.1 to start playing their single and had their friends call in to request the song. A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the band. The members of the band all quit their other jobs to focus on their music.
The Movement accepted that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act in 1995, as soon as Pam Foster started the group’s first fan club. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Albany, the fan club quickly grew with group’s national tour and the launching of the band’s website by Jenny Brady.
The Movement are expecting to bring in a whole new audience with this tour and the newest project. The group has just completed their latest release, but they are already planning their next move. The Movement's new album took ten months to create.
Generally critics will commend The Movement for their ability to energize the audience at live performances. Seattle music critic Vito Gremillion has always been a fan of band’s songs' sincerity.
